Who are we?
What do we want to achieve? Young Ahold Delhaize Serbia is a group that connects our young employees on a voluntary basis to develop together, learn from each other and make work fun. We encourage further professional development of young colleagues in Delhaize Sebia and encourage them on a further career path through understanding and responding to development needs and increasing the visibility and voice of young people through the organization. We share knowledge and best practices among colleagues, learn more about the expertise of others, as well as different parts of the organization and key processes, in order to get to know and cooperate better. We get to know each other better, spend more time together, get involved in various informal activities to add a fun side to the work.

Hello there fellow youngsters! 😊 I’m Isidora Ičelić , and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Youth Board at Delhaize Serbia. My journey with the Ahold Delhaize family began in 2023 through the Find Your Place program, where I had the chance to dive deep into the dynamic world of retail. This experience, enriched by mentorship and training, shaped my professional path and led me to my current role as an Organizational Culture Specialist. In my role, I focus on employer branding, enhancing organizational culture, wellbeing, and DEI initiatives, while also collaborating with external partners on exciting projects. What I love most about my work is the opportunity to connect with people, create impactful strategies, and drive meaningful change within the company. When it comes to the Youth Board, I see it as a space where we, as young professionals, can make a real difference. It’s a platform that allows me to actively shape projects, exchange ideas with peers, and contribute to initiatives that empower young talents across Delhaize Serbia and beyond. Being part of this group has been both inspiring and rewarding—it’s where our energy and creativity meet real impact. Outside of work, I’m passionate about dancing, reading great books, watching inspiring movies, and traveling to discover new cultures and perspectives. These hobbies fuel my creativity and help me bring fresh ideas to everything I do. I’m looking forward to collaborating, learning, and growing alongside all of you as part of this amazing community. 😊

Hello dear Young ! 😊 I’m Marina Đoković, a proud member of the Youth Board at Delhaize Serbia. My journey in the company started through the FYP program, where I had the chance to dive into the company’s dynamics and learn invaluable lessons about prioritization, effective communication, and flexibility. Today, I’m a part of the Communications team in the Operations sector, where I get to combine my passion for storytelling with my desire to contribute to our company’s strategic growth. Academically, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management and a master’s degree in Project and Investment Management from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Throughout my studies, I enriched my experience through scholarships, internships, and active participation in student organizations, where I honed my skills and discovered my passion for teamwork and leadership. Why did I join the Youth Board? Because it’s the perfect blend of professional growth and creativity! It gives me the opportunity to work on exciting projects, apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios, and, most importantly, connect with inspiring colleagues who share the same energy and vision for making our company even better. When I’m not busy at work, I love exploring new ways to develop my skills, whether through books, podcasts, or taking part in creative workshops. I’m also a big fan of animals. I look forward to meeting all of you, collaborating on impactful projects, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally within our amazing company. Hey everyone! I’m excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself and share a bit of my story. Since September 2023, I’ve been part of the dynamic E-commerce team at Delhaize Serbia. Before that, I gained six months of experience through the Find Your Place internship in the Commercial sector, which helped me better understand various aspects of the business. I graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, majoring in Management, and during my fourth year of studies, I started an internship that allowed me to choose a career path in a field that truly inspires me. In my work, I enjoy being creative and contributing to the company through projects and ideas. What I value most is the amazing energy and synergy within our team, where my colleagues have become true friends. I’m proud to be a part of Young Delhaize Serbia and look forward to contributing to the company’s development through collaboration, exchanging experiences, and building great connections. At a very young age, I got the chance to become a part of a large retail company, so I can freely say that in my career sense, Delhaize Serbia "raised" me. Delhaize is also my first encounter with the corporate culture and way of working of a large company. I walked through the door of our company a little over two years ago, and the experience I gained is equal to five years. I started my career as an information systems administrator. In that team, I was in charge of the complete IT infrastructure of the company, and I often like to say that this position is one of the main pillars, because it is a great responsibility to ensure the smooth operation of all business processes. This position taught me to work in a dynamic environment, and how important teamwork and communication among colleagues is. Since June 2022, I have continued my career in the supply chain, as a specialist in business process improvement, but in November 2023 I'm becoming part of EBS Ahold Delhaize family as Expert for HRIT & Data Management. I also represent Young people in our company, as part of the board members of Young Ahold Delhaize Serbia. This group of young people is a place where new ideas, initiatives and acquaintances are born. As I have already said, Delhaize Serbia is a company in which I have gained a lot of experience, but I was most impressed by the people, which is a sufficient indicator of the working environment.

My name is Nevena Tešič, and I am part of the Operations Sector at Delhaize Serbia, where I work as a Performance Monitoring Specialist. I joined the team a little over two years ago, and I can confidently say that this experience has professionally shaped me. This is my first job in the corporate world, and it’s truly a pleasure to build my career in such a dynamic environment. In my current team, I focus on data analysis and monitoring key performance indicators, which are essential for optimizing processes and improving results. This role has given me the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment where teamwork and effective communication are crucial for success. From the very beginning, Delhaize Serbia has provided me with the chance to grow, learn, and contribute to shared goals. The most lasting impression on me has been the people I work with – professional, dedicated, and always willing to share their knowledge. In addition to my daily work responsibilities, I am also an active member of the Young Ahold Delhaize Serbia board. This is an amazing initiative that gives young people a platform to exchange ideas, create new projects, and connect with one another. I believe such activities are invaluable not only for professional development but also for fostering a healthy and supportive work environment. Outside of work, I love going for long walks, dancing, diving into new books, and discovering new hobbies. I’m looking forward to further developing myself, taking on new challenges, and working together with my colleagues to drive meaningful change
